Despite  the  results  of  the  2010  Census,  there’s  lible  to  no  informa9on  available  in  regards  to  “influen9als”  among  the  La9no  Blogging  world.  

LATISM  survey  included  nearly  12,300  La9no  and  La9na  bloggers  ages  18+,  53%  female  

look.

What  is  lacking  in  the  technology  sphere  that  would  be=er  serve  the  fastest  growing  market  of  consumers  in  the  U.S.?

What  is  the  overall  value  of  inclusive  diversity  that  speaks  to  the  American  La)na  in  technology  innova)on?  

We  need  to  take  it  a  step  further  to  fill  the  gap  between  consump)on  and  crea)on    

•  La9no  tech  startups  get  less  than  2  percent  of  VC  funding  •  Women,  especially  women  of  color  and  especially  La9nas  fall  behind  in  STEM  

field  jobs  

•  Between  2000  and  2011,  the  number  of  women  interested  in  majoring  in  computer  science  dropped  by  79  percent.  Na9onal  Center  for  Women  and  Informa9on  Technology  

•  In  general  women  are  paid  57  cents  out  of  every  dollar  a  man  makes  

•  About  50%  of  women  in  tech  jobs,  leave  the  field  aqer  12  years
