Brightwater also has an extensive At Home service that is available to people of all ages in need of support and operates an Award winning over 55s community, Kingsway Court. Some of these facilities are 30 years old and require continual monitoring in relation to maintenance. The management could see their existing business systems could not provide the level of access to data and graphics that would allow then to manage these assets effectively in future years. The immediate need was to access their plans quickly and relate them to all relative data at the same time, which was not available. The information required included room detail, building asset information and occupant details. Numerous building plans needed to be converted to CAD format to provide an accurate record of the building assets and site information. This new SISfm Enquiry™ system delivers a state of the art user friendly browser platform that can be upgraded to add in additional modules to provide more detail, readability and reporting across their entire asset base of facilities. IFM presented the best option with the integration of their proprietary SISfm Enquiry™ software. Stage One of the project was to collate all of the building information and convert any manual records CAD. Stage Two involved the development and integration of the Archibus™ Space Management with SISfm Enquiry™. All essential existing data was gathered and collated, then correlated to ensure the Meta-tabs of that data enabled common readability across the existing business platforms standardising the database entry criteria for the Archibus Space Management system. All information including photographs of buildings, assets and rooms plus aerial photos were uploaded to each location to be read in conjunction all respective location data through the SISfm Enquiry™ browser.
