Believe = to have faith in; to entrustentrust one's self to.

It's not justnot just an intellectual consent that it's true.

Christ = Messiah; Anointed One.

Whosoever puts his faith in Jesus as Messiah,

The Son of GodThe Son of God,Is born of the SpiritSpirit of God into the familyfamily of God.

We are sonssons and daughtersdaughters of God Almighty.

To love GodGod is to love His SonHis Son; all His childrenHis children.We are not all lovablenot all lovable, but that doesn't matter.

God says, "Love Me, love My kids."

2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep His Command-ments.

He turned it aroundturned it around, just to show that it goes together either way.

We know we love Godlove God when we love His kids.

We know we love God's kidslove God's kids when we love God, and keep His Commandments.

It's a package deal.It's a package deal.

3 For this isthis is the love of God, that we keep His Commandments: and His Commandments are not grievous.

God and His Word are inseparableinseparable.

JesusJesus is the Word is the Word.John 1

We can'tcan't love God and resentresent, or resistresist, or rejectreject His Word.

"And His Commandments are not grievous."

Grievous = burdensome

God's Commandments are not a burden;

They are blessingThey are blessing.

Love automatically keeps God's Love automatically keeps God's Laws.Laws.

Love is the FruitFruit of the Holy Spirit.

So our concentrationconcentration needs to be on submittingsubmitting to the Spirit within us.

Worship and pray every day;

Not just on Sunday.

The Holy Spirit speaks through

the Word of God.

Be very conscious of attitudeattitude.

Stamp outStamp out every remnant of rebellionrebellion in your mind.

Don't allow seeds of resentment resentment or resistanceresistance to grow.

EmbraceEmbrace every Word of God with open armsopen arms, an open mindopen mind, and a willing heartwilling heart.

Therein lies blessingblessing and lifelife.
