SIDE NOTE :: SHAYTAN / IBLEES
Surah Fatir 35, Ayat 6 :: Indeed, Satan is an enemy to you; so take him as an enemy. He only invites his party to be among the companions of the Blaze.
Surah Ibrahim 14, Ayat 22 :: And Satan will say when the matter has been concluded, "Indeed, Allah had promised you the promise of truth. And I promised you, but I betrayed you. But I had no authority over you except that I invited you, and you responded to me. So do not blame me; but blame yourselves. I cannot be called to your aid, nor can you be called to my aid. Indeed, I deny your association of me [with Allah] before. Indeed, for the wrongdoers is a painful punishment."
SIDE NOTE :: SHAYTAN / IBLEES
Surah al-Baqarah 2, Ayat 34 :: And [mention] when We said to the angels, "Prostrate before Adam"; so they prostrated, except for Iblees. He refused and was arrogant and became of the disbelievers.
Surah al-Hijr 15, Ayat 33-35 :: He said, "Never would I prostrate to a human whom You created out of clay from an altered black mud.“[Allah] said, "Then get out of it, for indeed, you are expelled. And indeed, upon you is the curse until the Day of Recompense."

Surah adh-Dharriyat 51, Ayat 56 :: And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me.
It is the reason for Allah sending ProphetsSurah an-Nahl 16, Ayat 36 :: And We certainly sent into every nation a messenger, [saying], "Worship Allah and avoid taghut." And among them were those whom Allah guided, and among them were those upon whom error was [deservedly] decreed. So proceed through the earth and observe how was the end of the deniers.

Surah Ta-Ha 20, Ayat 123 :: [Allah] said, “Descend from Paradise – all, [your descendants] being enemies to one another. And if there should come to you guidance from Me – then whoever follows My guidance will neither go astray [in the world] nor suffer [in the Hereafter].
IMPORTANCE:: TAWHEEDIt is the first call that we have been commanded to obey
Surah al-Baqarah 2, Ayat 21 :: O mankind, worship your Lord, who created you and those before you, that you may become righteous –
Tawheed is the right of Allah over usSahih Bukhari - Book #93 - Hadith #470 :: Narrated Mu'adh bin Jabal (Radhi-Allah-hu 'anhu):: The Prophet (salAllahu alayhi wa sallam) said: "O Mu'adh! Do you know what Allah's Right upon His slaves is?" I said, "Allah and His Apostle know best." The Prophet (salAllahu alayhi wa sallam) said, "To worship Him (Allah) Alone and to join none in worship with Him (Allah). Do you know what their right upon Him is?" I replied, "Allah and His Apostle know best." The Prophet (salAllahu alayhi wa sallam) said, "Not to punish them (if they do so)."
Tawheed is the cause of our entering Paradise'Itban (May Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (May the peace and blessing of Allah be upon him) said :: "Indeed Allah has forbidden for Hell the person who testifies: 'There is nothing worthy of worship in truth (no true God) but Allah', seeking thereby nothing but Allah's Face (pleasure)." (Al-Bukhari, Muslim).
RUBOOBIYAH:: TAWHEED
Two Types of Rubuubiyyah
General Rubuubiyyah :: This is to all creation. No object exists without Allah being its Rabb. This the case even if they deny it. For example, even if the Athiest deny, Allah is his/her Creator
Specific Rubuubiyyah :: When you acknowledge Allah, then Allah has a special relationship with you. This is Rubuubiyyah that Allah shows to His servants. For example, as parent you are more concerned about your own child than a general concern about your neighbors child as a human being
SIGNS OF CREATION :: RUBOOBIYYAH
Sahih International: Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and earth, and the alternation of the night and the day, and the [great] ships which sail through the sea with that which benefits people, and what Allah has sent down from the heavens of rain, giving life thereby to the earth after its lifelessness and dispersing therein every [kind of] moving creature, and [His] directing of the winds and the clouds controlled between the heaven and the earth are signs for a people who use reason. [al Baqarah :: 002.164 ]
FITRA :: RUBOOBIYYAH
Sahih International: So direct your face toward the religion, inclining to truth. [Adhere to] the fitrah of Allah upon which He has created [all] people. No change should there be in the creation of Allah. That is the correct religion, but most of the people do not know. [ar-Ruum 30.30 ]
Sahih International: And [mention] when your Lord took from the children of Adam – from their loins – their descendants and made them testify of themselves, [saying to them], "Am I not your Lord?" They said, "Yes, we have testified." [This] – lest you should say on the day of Resurrection, "Indeed, we were of this unaware."[ al-A’raf 7.172 ]
FITRA :: RUBOOBIYYAH
DEFINITION OF GOD ISLAM :: RUBOOBIYYAH“There is none like Him. (Ash-shura 42:11)
“He is first and the last. (al-Hadeed 57:3)
“He begets not, nor is He begotten” (Al-Akhlas 112:3)
“Allah – There is no God deserving of worship but He, the ever-living, the self-sufficient [and] omnipotent” (al-Baqarah 2:255)
“Verily your Lord does what He wills” (Huud 11:107)
“God is alive” (al-Baqarah 2:255)
“The Knower of the unseen and seen” (al-An’aam 6:73)
DEFINITION OF GOD WEST :: RUBOOBIYYAHOntological Proof
The argument examines the concept of God and argues that if we can conceive of God he must exist
FLAW :: Since we can conceive Avatar movie, it exists.
Cosmological ProofEverything that exists has a cause of its existenceThe universe existsThe universe has a cause of it existence, therefore God exist being the causeDomino Affect :: God moved the first domino
FLAW :: God now has no control of the domino affect
Teleological ProofThe world is too complex, orderly, adaptive, apparently purposeful or beautiful to have occurred randomly or accidently.Therefore, the world must have been created by a sentient, intelligent, wise or purposeful beingGod is a sentient, intelligent, wise or purposeful beingTherefore, God exists.
ISLAM VS WESTERN :: RUBOOBIYYAH
Islamic proofs :
are simple
are universal
do not require detailed background in any philosophy
have no negative implications (in contrast with western proofs)
are logical
NOT SUFFICIENT FOR TAWHEED :: RUBOOBIYYAH
Faith is personal
Allah will see what is in my heart
What if my action is such & such, my heart is pure
Belief is good enough
Belief is important
NOT SUFFICIENT FOR TAWHEED :: RUBOOBIYYAHSatan Believes in Allah
Surah al-Hasr 59, Ayat 16 – 17 :: [The hypocrites are] like the example of Satan when he says to man, "Disbelieve." But when he disbelieves, he says, "Indeed, I am disassociated from you. Indeed, I fear Allah, Lord of the worlds.". So the outcome for both of them is that they will be in the Fire, abiding eternally therein. And that is the recompense of the wrong-doers.
NOT SUFFICIENT FOR TAWHEED :: RUBOOBIYYAHArabs of Jahiliyyah believed in Allah
Believed Allah is the SustainerSurah Al Ankabuut 29, Ayat 61 – 63 :: If you asked them, “Who created the heavens and earth and subjected the sun and the moon?” they would surely say, “Allah.” Then how are they deluded?. Allah extends provision for whom He wills of His servants and restricts for him. Indeed Allah is, of all things, Knowing.
Surah Az-Zukruf 43, Ayat 87 :: And if you asked them who created them, they would surely say, "Allah." So how are they deluded?
Surah Al Mu’minun 23, Ayat 84 – 89 :: Say, [O Muhammad], “To whom belongs the earth and whoever is in it, if you should know?”, They will say, “To Allah.” Say, “Then will you not remember?” Say, “Who is Lord of the seven heavens and Lord of the Great Throne?” They will say, “[They belong] to Allah.” Say, “Then will you not fear Him?” Say, “In whose hand is the realm of all things – and He protects while none can protect against Him – if you should know?” They will say, “[All belongs] to Allah.” Say, “Then how are you deluded?”
NOT SUFFICIENT FOR TAWHEED :: RUBOOBIYYAHArabs of Jahiliyyah believed in Allah
Believed in Allah but called the MushrikSurah Yusuf 12, Ayat 106 :: And most of them believe not in Allah except while they associate others with Him.
Surah Az-Zumar 39, Ayat 3 :: Unquestionably, for Allah is the pure religion. And those who take protectors besides Him [say], "We only worship them that they may bring us nearer to Allah in position." Indeed, Allah will judge between them concerning that over which they differ. Indeed, Allah does not guide he who is a liar and [confirmed] disbeliever.
Surah Yunus 10, Ayat 18 :: And they worship other than Allah that which neither harms them nor benefits them, and they say, "These are our intercessors with Allah." Say, "Do you inform Allah of something He does not know in the heavens or on the earth?" Exalted is He and high above what they associate with Him.
ULOOHIYAH:: TAWHEED
Rubuubiyah alone is not sufficient
If a Muslim says I believe in Allah and that’s it, then that person is as equal to Shaytan (Iblis) in the belief and it is incomplete
Shaytan, even after believing Allah, He called him Kafer.
To be a Muslim, he/she must also believe in Allah’s Uloohiyyah
ULOOHIYAH:: TAWHEED
Sahih International: [The hypocrites are] like the example of Satan when he says to man, "Disbelieve." But when he disbelieves, he says, "Indeed, I am disassociated from you. Indeed, I fear Allah, Lord of the worlds.“ [ Al-Hashr 059.016 ]
Sahih International: So the outcome for both of them is that they will be in the Fire, abiding eternally therein. And that is the recompense of the wrong-doers. [ Al-Hashr 059.017 ]

SHIRKOpposite of Tawheed is Shirk
Negation of elements of Tawheed is Shirk
Shirk in essence means, giving Allah’s rights to other than He.
ORIGIN :: SHIRK
Sahih International: And said, 'Never leave your gods and never leave Wadd or Suwa‘ or Yaghuth and Ya‘uq and Nasr. [ Nuh :: 071.023 ]
UNFORGIVEABLE DANGERS :: SHIRK
Sahih International: Indeed, Allah does not forgive association with Him, but He forgives what is less than that for whom He wills. And he who associates others with Allah has certainly gone far astray. [ an Nisa :: 004.116 ]
HEAVEN PROHIBITED DANGERS :: SHIRK
Sahih International: They have certainly disbelieved who say, "Allah is the Messiah, the son of Mary" while the Messiah has said, "O Children of Israel, worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord." Indeed, he who associates others with Allah – Allah has forbidden him Paradise, and his refuge is the Fire. And there are not for the wrongdoers any helpers.[ al Mai’dah :: 005.072 ]
NULLIFIES ALL GOOD DEEDS DANGERS :: SHIRK
Sahih International :: And it was already revealed to you and to those before you that if you should associate [anything] with Allah, your work would surely become worthless, and you would surely be among the losers.“ [ az Zumar :: 039.065 ]
OTHERS CANNOT MAKE DU’A DANGERS :: SHIRK
Sahih International :: It is not for the Prophet and those who have believed to ask forgiveness for the polytheists, even if they were relatives, after it has become clear to them that they are companions of Hellfire. And the request of forgiveness of Abraham for his father was only because of a promise he had made to him. But when it became apparent to Abraham that his father was an enemy to Allah, he disassociated himself from him. Indeed was Abraham compassionate and patient. And Allah would not let a people stray after He has guided them until He makes clear to them what they should avoid. Indeed, Allah is Knowing of all things. [ at Taubah :: 009.113 - 115 ]

CASE STUDY :: PART CAs per the advice of Shaykh Ahmad, Mutafa had asked the people who visited the Mausoleum of the Hazrat why they would come to the grave. The first category of respondents has already been mentioned. The second category of people claimed that they were only asking the Hazrat to ask Allah ta‟ala for what they wanted. They were not making dua‟ to the Hazrat but merely making tawassul through him. They fully acknowledged that dua‟ could only be done to Allah, but just like a King is approached through his ministers, similarly Allah may only be approached through the pious saints.
Some of these people would ask the Hazrat to ask Allah. As one of them said, “We only go to the Hazrat‟s grave since he can hear us in it, and then we ask him to make dua‟ on our behalfs, just like we would to do any living saint.” So they said they were using the Hazrat as an intercessor.
Others amongst them asked Allah using the status of the Hazrat, for example by saying, “O Allah! In the name of the Hazrat, please forgive our sins!”
The third category claimed that they were making dua‟ to Allah directly, but they wanted the barakah of the grave of the Hazrat. Thus, since they were in such a holy location, their dua‟s (or so they claimed) would have a higher chance of being accepted.
Hence, many of them travelled from far and wide in order to visit this „blessed‟ grave, and make dua‟ to Allah to grant them their needs. Many amongst them would also read „Faatiha‟ for the Hazrat.
EXALTING THE SAINTS !!!Origins of Shirk
Surah Nuh 71, Ayat 23
Status of Prophet MuhammadSahih International: They ask you, [O Muhammad], about the Hour: when is its arrival? Say, "Its knowledge is only with my Lord. None will reveal its time except Him. It lays heavily upon the heavens and the earth. It will not come upon you except unexpectedly." They ask you as if you are familiar with it. Say, "Its knowledge is only with Allah, but most of the people do not know. "I hold not for myself [the power of] benefit or harm, except what Allah has willed. And if I knew the unseen, I could have acquired much wealth, and no harm would have touched me. I am not except a warner and a bringer of good tidings to a people who believe." [ alAraf :: 007.187 - 188 ]
Sahih International: Not for you, [O Muhammad, but for Allah], is the decision whether He should [cut them down] or forgive them or punish them, for indeed, they are wrongdoers. [ AlImran :: 003.128 ]

Using a Righteous Living PersonSahih Bukhari Volume 2, Book 17, Number 123:
ATHEISTIC ARGUMENTS1. All religions claim that God is an all-powerful entity. So it is possible
that God can create something so heavy that He cannot lift it ?2. Is it possible for God to create a circle with four sides ? Or an object
that’s exists and doesn’t exist at the same time ?3. The Theory of Evolution proves that we are descendants of other
beings. Science explains everything – there is no need to believe in supernatural God.
4. It is historically clear that religions have been tools used by the powers-that-be to control the masses. Religion is the single most-important cause of social upheaval, wars and death. Is it possible that a true religion would allow this ?
5. It is not possible for an All-Merciful God to allow such suffering as we see in the world today. People dying of hunger and starvation, natural disasters destroying hundreds and millions of lives, unnecessary diseases, plagues and wars, and the list goes on. The existence of evil clearly proves that an All-Powerful, All-Merciful God cannot exist.
6. God is unnecessary to our life; hence, He does not exist7. Which God, when there are more than 500 Gods ? Hence, he does not
exist.8. There is no proof for the existence if God, hence He does not exist9. If everything is created, then who created God?10.Do you exist ? Does God Exist ?
PROTECT TAWHEEDThe Prophet (saw) forbade the building of mosques over gravesHe forbade burial of the dead inside the mosquesHe forbade the worship of Allah at places where shirk occurs or has occurredHe forbade the worship of Allah at times when shirk occursHe forbade exaggeration in generalHe forbade Muslims to praise him excessively He forbade his Companions to stand up in his presenceHe forbade image makingHe forbade undertaking a religious journey except to the three places that Islam has made sacred but with intention of Allah and no one else. Not even the Prophet.He forbade the Muslims to imitate the disbelieversHe commanded that all raised graves be leveledHe reminded Muslims of the true purpose of visiting graveyards and gravesHe forbade certain phrases that lead to shirk.
