MIRACLE HOUR

LINDA SCHUBERT

THE 3 PILLARS OF LENT

Fasting, almsgiving, and prayer are the three traditional disciplines of Lent.

The faithful and catechumens should undertake these practices seriously in a spirit of penance and of preparation for baptism or of renewal of baptism

at Easter.

Protect your Holy Hour

• 3 o’clock – the hour of great mercy• 3 pm significant for us on Good Friday as the hour when Christ breathed

his last and died on the cross for our sins and those of the whole world.

it is the hour when his side was pierced with a lance; and whereupon blood and water gushed forth as a fount of mercy for all souls.

“At three o’clock, implore My mercy, especially for sinners; and, if only for a brief moment, immerse yourself in My Passion, particularly in My abandonment at the moment of agony. This is the hour of great mercy… In this hour, I will refuse nothing to the soul that makes a request of Me in virtue of My Passion.” (Diary, 1320)

Just spend 5 minutes on each section for an hour of great blessings!

INTERSECTION

• Our father• Hail Mary• Glory be• Any brief prayer in favour

1. Praise

• “Bless the LORD, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless his holy name! ” (Psalm 103:1)

• Through praise, we are stating that we are weak and He is strong.

• As this awesome Creator, who loves us so much that He sent Jesus to die for us that we might have a place in His family, deserves our adoration and praise.

• People of praise are people of faith. Their very lives state to the world that they trust their loving Heavenly Father, know He intends goodness for His children, and expect extravagant answers to prayer.

• Litany of Praise

2. Sing To The Lord

• He who sings, prays twice.

• “O come, let us sing to the LORD; let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation! Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise! ” (Psalm 95:1-2)

• Close your eyes, be still and allow music to rise up in your spirit.

• Hum / sings/ sing in tongues• Song : I love you Lord/ the 8-fold

Alleluia.

3. Spiritual Warfare• to place ourselves

specifically under the Lord’s protection and take authority over any powers of evil. – already began in praise : one of the most powerful weapons against the enemy.

• Put on the full armor of God & Stand firm” (Ephesians 6:10-17)

• “No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.” (Romans 8:37)

• Spiritual Warfare Prayer

4. Surrender• Our healing and empowerment begins

when we surrender to Jesus.

• YES! to Jesus.• YES! to Holy Spirit.

• And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou will. (Matthew 26:39)

• Prayer of Surrender
