Spaceshaper 9 - 1 4 – Giving Young People

a Voice

!! Beam secured funding from DCSF in 2008 to develop the

tool in partnership with CABE Space, The Architecture

Centre, Bristol and Kent Architecture Centre.

!! 14 regional pilots have informed the tool’s content and

brand.

!! Young people’s feedback has been key to development

!! 120 facilitators trained to date Jan – Mar 2010

!! Currently developing groups of young co-facilitators

!! Sessions approx 4 hours

!! Good facilitation is essential - co-facilitators support group work
