Habitat• The puma lives in the “Mountain” biome.

• There are many animals that live in its biome, some are: roadrunners, rabbits, hares, weasel, moose, elk, dear, rodents, fish, birds, eagles, wild goats ,and fox.

Food

• The puma eats many animals, some of them are: rabbits, hares, dears, moose, elk, rodents, fish, birds, fox, poultry, pigs, and porcupines.

Food Habits

• The puma finds its food in many ways.

• Like: hiding and suddenly he attacks ,or it jumps from a cliff if the animal didn’t see him and running to catch up and always in any ways it attacks it powerfully bites it on the neck, nearly the skull.

Interesting Facts

• The puma is interesting because it has 4 fingers on the back legs and 5 on the front legs.

• Another interesting fact is it eats more than 135,000 kilos of large preys per year.

Why is it Endangered?

• The puma is endangered for many reasons, but especially for loss of habitat.

• Other reasons are chain loss, over hunting, pollution, and deforestation.

What Has Been done to Help?

C.I.T.E.S have helped endangered animals.

Therefore C.I.T.E.S means convention of international trades endangered species it’s a rule so animals cant enter Spain or go somewhere else.

Conclusion

• For the future I think the puma will be saved, but I'm not sure.
