    Articulate a thesis project combining all the design methodologies gained through a university education. Promote a proactive attitude for social and cultural change.     During his lifelong legacy of composing, Antonio Vivaldi expressed his individuality in an era widely apprehensive of his progressive future focused musical mindset. Emulating his odd persona among society through crafting 16th and 17th century Italian processes by illumination through glass half full of a bright neoclassical light. Instilling the mysterious complexities of his lifes work into a monument to the world famous concerto, the four seasons.

    CHALLENGE

    Craft a historical monument to an influential classical composer whose work can be seen in modern culture. Research their story and communicate the musicians personal philosophies by capturing the soul of their work among the culture of ancient eras.

    Kitsune Oyobi Okurimono (or koo!) translates to the fox and the gift. The nature and tradition of the fox in Japanese culture is a messenger to the god of rice, Inari Okami. Approaching the international sake market with a symbiotic relationship between family brewed import sake and local fine dining sushi establishments. Tradition and modernity in visual harmony join together old world craftsmanship with new world product design.

    CHALLENGE

    Market a new product to a presently increasing business venture. Capture the cultural and historical factors that embody the spirit of this entrepreneurial endeavor. Design an innovative concept that steps beyond the walls of current quality competition.

Adobe Seoul takes these cultural values and shapes them into a progressive campaign promoting growth of technology into the connected future of universal international culture.

    Conceptualize and integrate the current adobe brand into the international market of Seoul, South Korea. Through a multifaceted delicate multicultural research and analysis, promote the company to the current technology market overseas.

    ArcTeryx is an innovative Canadian rock climbing brand focused on providing the next generation of progressive outdoor climbing equipment and apparel. Taking a conceptual approach based upon the fundamentals of climbing, the art of movement. Revolving around the act of balance applied upon friction points to complete a line. Textural elements mirror natural environment spliced with a technical industrial edge of added character.

    CHALLENGE

    Develop a multi-unit packaging system for a brand of activity you feel passionate towards. Utilizing the personality of the activity or brand to create a new design aesthetic to promote the company differently than their present visual persona.

    Concluding to the educated analysis of the present market being saturated by college students 21+ who drink wine socially with friends. Chipboard and silk screening have been chosen to create a unique contrast between natural and gloss materials. A tactile gnarly layered texture brings out the bold aged taste of this old vine zin.

    CHALLENGE

    Design an inexpensive boxed wine utilizing standard wine serving and production speculations. Determine the target audience that best fits the casual budget wine market. Focus on setting market differentiation through the breaking beyond current design trends.

    The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes but in having new eyes, this project is aimed at bringing Marcel Prousts anecdote to life. Critical usage of intricate and intuitive user experience methods will be utilized, transforming the American River Parkway into a universally communicative journey. Connecting humans back to their formative roots within nature.

    CHALLENGE

    Analyze the current systems forced upon the public location of choice. Research methods of construction, test levels of communication and produce a proposal to change the wayfinding, placemaking systems and environmental graphics of the local habitat.

    Capturing the poetry of the urban soul, this photographic series sets an architectural perspective to life amongst spaces in our industrial ecosystem. The angles of a skyline, a forgotten corner of an alleyway preserving our history, there is a unique story of its journey alongside our own. Those hidden spaces are living a mysterious relationship with the spontaneous urban human populous.

    CHALLENGE

    Illustrate the story of an environment of local human habitants. Focus on the design characteristics in manmade architecture and the beauty of spaces.

    A glimpse into the compositional explorations in photographic studies ranging a vast spectrum of aesthetics. Included among the showcase are product landscape, portrait and abstract work from the progression of my degree. As Ansel Adams once pledged, you dont take a photograph, you make it.

    CHALLENGE

    Compose a digital photography series that conveys emotion, tells a story, captures a unique memory or builds interest through the use of fundamental photographic techniques. The focus of this showcase should be composition, contrast, hierarchy & aesthetic by combining talent and intelligence through the visual minds eye.

    The visual atmosphere of his novel is an exploratory contrast between the surreal and our present realities. Construction of dimensional sculptural elements provided a bridge between reality and dream mind states. Occupied by contrasted interpretations of the process and psychology Hubert Selby Jr. brought to light in this chilling realist novel.

    CHALLENGE

    Research Hubert Selby Jr. and his lifelong struggles as an author in 20th century New York City. Read his novel, Requiem for a Dream and visually illustrate the psychological & sociological commentaries told by this underground literary legend.
