Close all running programs. Then click start , Point to programs and click control panel

Double-click on the Add New Hardware icon. The Add New Hardware Wizard will appear

Click the Next button to begin installing the new hardware. Windows display the next wizard screen

The displayed dialog box indicates that windows will search for plug and play devices. Click on Next to continue

If windows finds a plug and play device , it display a name of device and asks if all devices we want to install are listed If windows did not detect a device we just installed, click No I want to install another device click Next. Windows displays the next wizard screen

If the wizard detected other devices it displays a list of them and asks if the device we want to install is in the list If the device is not in the list, click No, the device isn’t in the list. If the device is in the list click Yes, the device is in the list and click the name of the deviceClick Next. Windows displays the Next wizard screen

The Wizard asks if we want it to search for any

non plug and play devices on our system Select Yes and then click Next Windows displays the next wizard screen

The Wizard informs us that it will now search for any new plug and play devices Click Next to search our computer for any new hardware that’s installed This may take several minutes to search for the new hardware that’s installed

Wait until the detection process is completed and

if Windows is able to detect any new hardware

windows will install the software needed to support

our new hardware detected Click on the Finish button

Select the Model and Manufacturer of our hardware

Click Next. Windows displays the next wizard screen

To uninstall a hardware, follow these steps

Click Start button, point to Settings and then click on Control Panel

Double-click system

Click Device Manager option

Click the Remove button

Shutdown the computer and disconnect the hardware
