Why is it effective?

Convenient: Customers like to be able to get coupons, make reservations, or order food

Personal: We are always connected to our phones. 91% of people keep phone by side at all times. Advertisers are now being put in the same category as friends and family.

Quick: Don’t have to wait for an ad. It’s quicker for both sides.

ROI (Return on Investment): Better ROI because ad is usually welcomed. Not random like emailing. Usually customer requests to be on the list.

Most effective way to reach out to Gen Y: It’s the future! With Gen Y spending an average of $200 billion dollars on discretionary goods, advertisers are missing a huge market if they don’t find ways to get through to us.
