hardware and personnel make up the majority of the IT budget.

Where the personnel budget % is low, it is usually made up in the category of Outside consulting/support contracts.

Training is consistently the lowest portion of the IT budget and seems to trend with the personnel budget.

99 to 100% of grantees report having the security software necessary to protect their data. Exception: instant messaging encrypting (42%).

However, only 85% have security policies in place that govern the use of the internet and the protection of confidential data.
