A 5 minute talk I did at Refresh Teesside March event. The idea was to introduce my take on personal projects and share some thought on how to make them work for you. I believe that everyone should partake in a personal project but share a word of caution about not completing projects you start. The overall message is to 'Keep it small. Get it done'

I do have a number of
completed and live projects.
This makes me feel good!
I would like to share some
thoughts with you.
Everyone should do
personal projects.
Everyone has ideas, not
many do anything with them.
Pick one.
Focus, make it happen.
Keep it small.
Get it finished.
Don’t try and do too much.
Don’t worry about all the
things it won't do.

your going to finish it.
If nobody ever uses it…
If nothing ever come of it…
If you end up binning the project…
It does not matter!

Do something new…
Just don’t take on
