Subsidence Map

Subsidence map of Jakarta 1974-2010:

-4,1 meter

-1,4 meter-2,1 meter

-0,7 meter

-0.25 meter

Total subsidence -25 up to -400 cm ; rate -0.5 up to -17 cm/year -4,1 meter

-2,1 meter-1,4 meter

-0,7 meter

-0.25 meter

First recorded of levelingdata were in 1974. Base

on acumulated data,interpolation and

extrapolation we can makesubsidence map of Jakartafrom year 1974 up to 2010.

Base on latest analysis of piezometricsurface data found that initial condition

of subsidence were probably on 1965.In this case in the near future we will try

to modeled subsidence map of Jakartafor year 1965 up to 2011

Future Subsidence of JakartaSimulated future subsidence at Daan Mogot area (DNMG GPS Points)

Even though last water load is in 2010, the subsidence may continue with timeto at least 2100 where the value may reached 2,2 meter from 2010.

If drawdown increases 5 meter every 5 years after 2010 to 2030, therefore itwill lead to subsidence by 2030 with the value of 3,2 meter, and by 2100 withthe value of 5,7 meter from 2010.

Effects of Piezometric Head Recovery to 1995 value (15 meter recovery) by2015 will expected to give subsidence in 2100 with the value of 1,5 meter from2010

Effects of Piezometric Head Recovery to maximum head of the 3 aquifers of1995 values (i.e., -23 m head) by 2015 will expected to give subsidence in 2100with the value of 1,2 meter from 2010
