Innovation in micro-irrigation for dryland farmers

• Objective: contribute to sustainable land management and support sustainable livelihoods in Senegal, through capacity-building, investments in micro-irrigation and learning, evaluation and adaptive management

• Duration: Oct 2009 – Oct 2012

• Partners: LEAD FA, GEF, UNDP, Communities in Bakel, Senegalese gov’t

EcoHealth

• “Helping research find health: Moving from evidence to policy”

• Objective: Linked to pan African session for LAFP theme on Ecohealth, this action research programme will work with government to examine institutionalisation of EcoHealth, across 5 countries

• Description: Strengthening capacity of communities and local institutions to better respond to climate change, in Western and Southern Africa
