Land• Idaho is mostly wildernessBecause most people live along the snake river.

Climate• The mountains make the

climate cool. It also gets lots of snow in the winter.

garnet gem stone. It is why the state is known as the Gem State. It also has 80 other gemstones like opals, sapphires and rubies.

Idaho , she was a teenage girl that helped Lewis and Clark travel to the pacific Ocean. Gutzon Borglum was born in Idaho. He is famous for carving Mt.Rushmore.

than Niagara Falls In 1974 a guy swam over and lived.

• The Crystal ice Caves and stone displays to see. Balanced rock is 40 feet high and rests on a small block of stone.

• Evil Kneival tried to jump the Twin Falls of the snake river with his rocket powered motorcycle! He didn’t make it and had to use a parachute.

• Meridian is the 5th largest state. It grew 4 times larger from 1990 to 2000.

• The name Idaho is a made-up name. George M. Willing told people it was an Indian word that meant –gem of the mountains to get people to move there.

The salmon river was called the – river of no return because of its wild rapids.

Summary

• People should come to Idaho because it is so much fun. I know because I lived their for my childhood. You can go camping and hiking and in the winter it is fun to. you can play in the snow and if you like the outdoors if I was you I would go to Idaho.
