I am a curiously creative 25 yr old Industrial design undergraduate, currently in my 2nd year of study. Starting university a little later in life has allowed me to travel the world, explore different cultures, gain a valuable work ethic and a lot of life experience. I have a real thirst for learning and am always very eager to expand my knowledge and skills in terms of design. With this in mind I am looking forward to finding a challenging internship that will allow me to develop my skills as a young designer and give me valuable insight into the product design industry.

concept

It can be said that a particular shoe can define an era. Sneakers in particular have become arte-facts of societal shifts, reflecting revolution in the 60s, punk rock rebellion in the 70s and the hip hop identity and street culture of the 80s.

The era we live in today is one of multiculturalism, global communication and diversity. This sneaker is a celebration of that diversity and in particular the growing multiculturalism within Britain by recognising the 160 nationalities that reside there today.
