My name is Bryan Jaybee, freelance photojournalist with a base in Kibera, Nairobi, Kenya. Photography is a hobby – that developed into a passion and now a profession. I take photos of people and places, but that’s not all, I take photos of anything and everything – to make memories, meet new people and have fun while at it. I strive to make every image I take an award winning – and with all honesty, that’s my approach to the art.This is a free photography portfolio, however images should not be used or altered in anyway without written consent from the original owner - Bryan Jaybee. I grew up in a slum area – corrugated rooftops stretching to the horizon, mud walled houses that would fall during downpour – covered with cartons on the inside, lots of kids playing in the streets, singing in unison whenever a train passes, simply surviving. However it became a sight-seeing spot. I feel saddened about it.
