About us

Agrarflug Helilift GmbH & Co. KG is a family-owned helicopter company run by the second generation. Founded in 1976 by Klaus Beese, it is located on a privately operated airfield in the town of Ahlen, North-Rhein-Westphalia, Germany.

Initially offering a broad range of helicopter operations, services such as power line and pipeline checks, sling load operations, forestry work, special surveys, VIP shuttles, film and photo shoots and providing the necessary training for helicopter licenses, Agrarflug Helilift has also become a global and independent service provider for helicopters, and specializes in sales, leasing, maintenance, repairs and overhauls, refurbishments, modifications and spare parts support.

With over 40 company-owned helicopters, and offering our customers, clients and friends services in the annual forest firefighting season in southern Europe, supporting off-shore platforms in Guinea, Namibia, India, Ecuador and Indonesia, conducting flights to remote mining and resource extraction plants in Gabon, Peru and Mozambique, along with accompanying long-term Antarctic expeditions or humanitarian aid missions for USAID or the United Nations in Africa and the Middle East, we dedicate ourselves to providing the best possible service, and helping fulfill the worldwide demand for helicopter transportation capabilities.

Critical Response Services

Critical Response Services (CRS) can be defined as any situation where, regardless of everything else happening, immediate action is required. Generally the most common form of CRS is an Aircraft on Ground (AOG) situation. As soon as a CRS situation occurs our priority becomes to rectify the problem immediately. We have implemented several call to action services to ensure this is done:

Direct point of contact systemThis means that even during holiday times (like Christmas etc.) when the office is not occupied, we have personnel that can be contacted anytime to ensure that the request/situation is known and can be dealt with immediately.

Mobile Repair TeamsWe can supply additional personnel to help fix the problem. Also spare parts that do not exceed a certain size can with be hand carried on to aircraft to shorten delivery times.

International Secure Air Freight/Known Consignor under EU regulation 185/2010 This means we can move airfreight from A to B avoiding all customs and therefore saving valuable time with the authorities.

Freight forwarders & Company ServicesWe work with international Freight Forwarders that understand the “time is everything, regardless of cost” and we also have our own company vehicles and dedicated personnel that are available.
