Extended Day is Visitation’s school-age childcare program for students in Kindergarten through grade 6. The program is open from 2:40 - 6:00 pm on school days and 7:00 am - 6:00 pm on non-school days.

In Extended Day, children participate in many educational and recreational activities on a daily basis. During a typical school day, activities in-clude: playing outside, having a healthy snack, completing homework assignments, self-directed play and teacher-guided activities.

Extended Day is an enriching program that fosters each child's social-emotional, cognitive and physi-cal development in an environment that is both complimentary and supportive of the values of Visitation School. Our underlying philosophy is that
