In which they decide what position the firm will have to fill and how to fill them from maintenance clerk to C.E.O Employment

HR&IR department always has data of appropriate candidates whenever any department needs an employee in order to fill a vacant position

CCBPL conducts two type of recruitment

Internal Recruitment External Recruitment

the best source of candidates and they have many benefits to fill open position with inside candidate

The employee also is more committed to the company and when he is promoted to the higher position his motivational factors also become high

It requires less orientation and training than the outsider

For finding internal the company publicizes the open job to employees and the listing the job’s attributes, like qualification, work schedule and pay rate etc

HR department is responsible for the recruitment of management staff and where as IR department recruits workers staff

If the company doesn’t have resume of the appropriate candidate working in the company or in its generated pool then it gives an ad in the news paper only for the management staff and then interested applicants apply for this position.

In case of workers category the IR senior officer informs the Contractor, who provides suitable persons to him for selecting final employee.

The recruitment of management staff above the grade of nine is done in the CCBPL head office. The company does not have any contract with any recruitment agencies.

Candidate becomes Employee

Salary  Salary is usually transferred into individual

bank accounts on the first of each month

Employee will receive a pay slip providing the details at the end of each month.

Provident Fund

Permanent employee becomes member of this fund on confirmation.

10 % of permanent employee’s basic salary will be deducted and same amount is being contributed by company.

Salary Review   Salary of employees may be reviewed on

performance basis

Performance review period is January to December and salary revision is effective from January 1st

Annual Incentive Plan

The Company provides annual incentive to all management staff

The annual incentive is based on plant rating and individual performance rating

Gratuity

The company provides gratuity after the completion of 3 years employment to all permanent employees

This amount is equal to one month, salary of each year service completion

LEAVE POLICY:

Sick Leave

10 Sick Leaves per annum are allowed  Annual Leaves

26 annual leaves are allowed in a calendar year Annual leave plan approved by Departmental Head is given to

HRIR Department in the beginning of the year  Casual Leaves  10 Casual leaves per annum are allowed

MEDICAL BENEFITS OPD  The company will reimburse the expenses

incurred for self and immediate family on submission of medical bills, detailed prescription.

Following expenses will not be reimbursed:

Dental treatment which falls under cosmetic treatment.

Cost of sun glasses / Cosmetic contact lenses.

Cosmetic treatment of any kind.

The annual limits of OPD are as under.

All permanent employees of CCBPL are insured in a group life insurance policy

Grade Monthly Free Management Grade 08 & above 04 cases of 250 ml. RB Management Grade 5A, 6 – 7 03 cases of 250 ml.

RB Management Grade 01 To 05 02 cases of 250 ml.

RB All Non-Management Employees01 cases of 250 ml. RB

OVERTIME / ENTERTAINMENT ALLOWANCE

Employees in grade M-1 to M-5 working in “General Shift” may get Entertainment allowance if their working exceeds normal working hours

Executives grade M-6 and above are not entitled to receive overtime or entertainment allowance

HAJ SCHEME  All Permanent Muslim Employees up to Grade M-5

are eligible

Executive employees grade M-6 and above are not eligible

OTHER BENEFITS

House Rent Advance Provident Fund Loan Vehicle and Petrol Entitlement Travelling Expanse Reimbursement etc

They should minimize their employee turnover rate from 6.8% to 3-4 %
