Altercation
• Definition: a noisy dispute.• POS: Noun• Syn: squabbling• Ant: harmony• Sentence: To some, the presidential

Apex
• Definition: highest point; summit• POS: Noun• Syn: Peak• Ant: Valley, base• Sentence: After reaching the apex of
the mountain, we decided to head back down a different way.
Ballyhoo
• Definition: to write in a way that makes people get excited in something
• POS: Noun• Syn: Propaganda, announce• Ant: hide• Sentence: There is much ballyhoo over
the Super Bowl, especially during this time of year.
Bona Fide
• Definition: Made in good faith without fraud or deceit; genuine.

• Definition: A closed meeting of members of a group united to promote a cause, issue or idea.

• Definition: Allows light to pass through, but not clearly, a distortion occurs.

neighbors can’t see in, but light is allowed in.
