What is it? A format integration structure, BDI is the Oracle Retail Enterprise Integration Infrastructure solution designed to address the complexities of the movement of bulk data between Oracle Retail and 3rd Party solutions.

How does it work? – Leverages the same tech stack as the Oracle

Retail applications it services - so it is covered by the same tech licensing

    – BDI moves data via services, not files. – On-Premise, Cloud, Hybrid Cloud – Focus is now on sending or receiving localized

    data.

Why BDI? – Efficient management of large volume bulk data movement (Premise & Cloud) – Supports multiple bulk data end-points – Increases IT productivity
