FROM THE EAST

Spring is here and let's all get in the groove of things. Speaking of being in the groove, this Valentnes Day, I hope youall have a wonderful tme with your loved ones.

On February 19th 2018, we observed this day to honor one of the founding fathers of this great naton, our BrotherGeorge Washington by partcipatng in a traditonal “daylight degree conferral” with other lodges within our district. Our Lodge hosted this event and it was well atended by brethren from diferent lodges in the bay area. This gave usthe opportunity to sharpen our Masonic rituals and just simply enjoy each other's company and much morefellowship.

On this month of February 8th and 19th we raised Bro. Kevin Smith and Bro. Evan Davis, to the Sublime Degree ofMaster Mason. Congratulatons to both of you my Brothers. This is only the beginning of your Masonic journey. Wehave a lot of more things to be known and to learn in regards to our Symbolic Masonry or simply as “the craf”. Nowyou have the burden of showing the world by your acts that you became a beter man.

Our membership is on the rise and I challenge the mentors and candidate coaches to closely work with our newlyinitated and passed brothers to provide them with the necessary assistance and essental mentoring for theiradvancement. It is (our) the responsibility of the mentors to inform and advise me of the status of the candidatewhich you are assigned to mentor. Our goal is to raise these brothers to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason. Wemust constantly strive to achieve the highest standard and dedicate ourselves to the ideals of our ancient craf.

Again, we are asking if you have any changes to your personal informaton, please inform the Lodge Secretary to havebeter communicaton with regards to Trestle board, Phone Tree and other medium. These are being held in privatefor Lodge business, please update.

This was brought to my atenton, Brethren, if you have not paid / send your annual dues for 2018, please be remindedto send your payment to our Brother the Secretary. Revenues generated in our membership is very essental to theexistence of our lodge. Again, I am asking for your immediate acton to resolve your membership dues. Thank you.My brothers and sisters, let me start with greetng each one the best and a wishes of contnued good health.

.

Fraternally,

Rollie Caabay, Worshipful Master
