The ability to read effectively and efficiently is a fundamental factor in a child’s future success.

Difficulty in learning to read can lead to reduced self-esteem as well as lower levels of achievement. Self-esteem is crucial to children’s social and academic

development. Non-readers feel like they are the only ones who can’t read (which

is not true!)Supporting the acquisition of reading skills is part of a spiral of

personal, social and academic success.קריאה is fundamental to function as a Yid.
