› Information evaluation is the process of evaluating an information source in order to obtain knowledge

› A given information source may be more or less valid, reliable or relevant

› TOAS (TONE in Norwegian) stand for four important keywords that you can use to evaluate an information source:

› Trustworthy: Is the source to be trusted?

› Objectivity: Is the source neutral?

› Accuracy: how careful, detailed and accurate is the source?

› Suitability: Can you find the answers you need?

Science project

› Students work on a science project. During the project period they are given guidance by librarians in:• How to make a literature list• Legal use of images and creative commons licences• Google advanced search• Flickr - online photo management and sharing
