DESCRIPTION

The technology used to make car batteries is continuously evolving. The latest innovation in this space has led to the introduction of several different types of batteries including something called Enhanced Flooded Batteries. What is an EFB battery, and how does it work? For starters, it is important to understand that an EFB battery is a further development of the conventional lead-acid battery. Since the battery is called ‘flooded’, the internal structure of the standard lead-acid battery is enhanced in this case, and it’s filled with a mixture of acid and water. Secondly, this type of battery is suitable for use in cars that consist of a simple automatic start-stop system. Many modern cars use what’s known as a start-stop technology to save fuel when the vehicle is at standstill in traffic. Another important fact about EFB batteries is with regards to service life. These batteries are known to have a longer service life due to the use of a polyvlies material on the surface of the positive plate. This gives it low internal resistance and twice the number of charging cycles in comparison with conventional starter batteries. Click Here: https://oriusbatteries.com/
