Presentation of my digital drafts to my client

CD Cover

Here is my first draft for their CD cover, I decided to name their album ‘On top of the world’ as it is catchy and a name that they would more than likely name an album. I made the draft using Photoshop however did not to any editing techniques on this draft. The edits made to this CD cover are yet to be decided.

CD Back and Spine

Here is a more detailed draft of my album back, it has been edited more than most of my other drafts to give some ideas of the blurring that will occur throughout all 3 of my products and how it will look. I am going to add additional credits at the bottom of the album and more realistic things like reviews.

The spine of the album is simple, containing the album name, artist name and chase and status’s logo.

Poster

Here is the draft of the poster I have created. It is a very simple draft and I have a lot of ideas for the final edit. I am planning on fading chase and status into the image maybe making their images larger to add more effect. The background will also be darker.

Cost (CD)• Chase and Status’s last album “No More Idols” as of march 2012 sold

over 500,000 copies and a deluxe edition was released.• The only quote I could find on the internet for a digipak CD duplication

is 50p per unit (a unit consisting of 1000 CD’s) this would mean that it would cost. 500 units is equal to the amount of copies no more idols has sold in the UK alone released last year (500,000 cds)

• 500 units would only cost £250 from this website• I however believe this is in-accurate and itwould cost over £1000 including full color andquality

If I was to print 1000 A3 posters it would cost £545

From this website it would cost £1845.50 to buy 1000 12 page A4 programme brochures
