Time-to Hire Definition

• Start date = the date the hiring supervisor notifies the agency HR Office to commence the process to fill the vacancy.

• End date = the date that the job offer is accepted.  

As requested by agencies, the defined Start and End date fields are now available in E-Recruiting as of 7/1/08. Agencies will need to decide how they will identify the Start Date for requisitions that are already in the system.
