Summary

Md. Shahidul Islam is passionate to pursue the challenges in the career in a well-

structured, research based and academic organization, and successfully apply to

acquired knowledge and expertise with confidence, sincerity and integrity. He is

working as Associate Professor and departmental head of prosthodontics in

Rangpur Dental College & Hospital. He has been trained in implant dentistry

after achieving Master of Surgery in Prosthodontics. He attended short course on

methods of biomedical research, workshop on biostatistics and manuscript

writing. He is acting as editor-in-chief of International journal of Dental Medicine,

and editor of Rangpur Dental College Journal, and member of editorial and

review board of American Journal of Health Research, Clinical Medicine

Research and American Journal of Biomedical and Life Sciences. He has more

than 2 dozens papers including original research, case reports and review in

both national and international in peer reviewed journals. He is a professional

freelancer in editing, scholarly publishing, scientific writing and research. He has

clinical expertise in maxillofacial prosthetics, implant dentistry, fixed and

removable prosthodontics, myofacial disorder, TMJ and Occlusion.
