Mood Board AnalysisIs there any repetition in the images you have collected? Repeated colours/images styles/fonts/tone/mood

• The format for the cover art is almost the same every time (Header at the top, image in the centre, subtext around the sides and at the bottom), but only because it is a formula that works.

• The images on the front cover are primarily the main character(s)• Two of the most common themes for the magazine covers are having either a plain white backdrop, with a bold

blocky header, or having a scene from the game as the backdrop.• The page spreads are usually featured around one element of the game, primarily either a character or plot

point, and the text on the content is spread around the image in blocks of colour, highlighting different elements• The posters all seem to have a very similar gritty vibe to theme to them, as to probably depict the action in the

game for example.• The fonts are bold and eye-catching in order to convince the intended reader to pick up the product.

How will your mood board influence your final product?• My magazine will adapt compositional elements from the magazines in the mood board, for example

the positioning of the main image can be seen either overlapping or underlying the header text.• The contents will hold more than just what was selected from the final mind map, it will incorporate

certain elements from the designs in the mood board and add them to the final product.
