DIVIDEND RATE INFORMATIONThe Board of Directors declared the following dividends and interest rates on your savings account at its monthly meeting in December 2015.

SHARE SAVINGS ACCOUNTSShare Savings Accounts – A .15% per annual dividend, .15% APY was declared for the fourth quarter of 2015, paid December 31, 2015. This dividend was paid on share savings accounts maintaining a balance of $50 or more for the quarter.

BREAST CANCER AWARENESSIn October, Preferred Credit Union sold t-shirts and formed a team of walkers that participated in the Making Strides For Breast Cancer walk in Grand Rapids. We raised $4,545.00 for the American Cancer Society through these efforts. Thank You to everyone that donated and helped raise money for The Breast

Cancer Awareness campaign! The money that was raised is going to support The Grand Rapids Hope Lodge, which is a home-away-from-home facility for out of town patients and their caregivers during treatment.

BACK TO SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIPSPCU put $3,000 back into the schools in our communities through our annual Back to School Scholarship Program. Each of our branches randomly selected a youth member who had made a deposit in the month of August, the selected youth member was able to choose any teacher of their choice to receive a $500 Classroom Scholarship. This year’s recipients were from South Eastern Elementary, Woodview, New Branches Charter, Ludington High School, Portage North Middle School, and Greenville Public Schools.
