22nd Apr 2016 : EARTH DAY CELEBRATION

“EVERY DAY IS AN EARTH DAY”

The students of our school celebrated ‘Earth Day’ with a medley of educational and fun activities. They were informed ahead about the importance of the day through myriad conservation- related activities which were planned for the day.

The programme started with a very informative speech delivered by ‘Upma Dutta’ of class VII followed by a group song. Later our Principal Mrs. Anshoo Tandon discoursed precisely yet effectively on ‘conservation of natural resources’ and significance of ‘Tree Plantation’ exemplifying it by planting a sapling in our school with the help of students along with other Staff Members.

The following day, the senior students made Posters and Collages showing how we can possibly save our Mother Earth. The students were told to either find or write an appropriate verse/slogan on the occasion and recite it for the class. Their teachers then elaborated each one alongside.

The programme helped students assimilate simply but clearly that our natural resources are limited and we desperately need to use them judiciously.

23 rd Apr 2016: A Counselling session was conducted by the team of vista Mind (Mr. Prakhar Gupta) on CLAT for the students of class XII.

23 rd Apr 2016: Our student , Layana Trivedi , student of class XII participated in KSS Declamation Competition organized Guru Nanak Public School Kalyanpur.

26 rd Apr 2016: Our Counselling session was conducetd by P & G Team members(Ms Pooja) for the for the girls of VI-VIII class on Personal Hygine and Physical Health

AWES RAISING DAY

“33rd AWES Raising Day” was celebrated on April 29, 2016 at Army Public School,Cantt, Kanpur with great zeal and zest.

The programme commenced with highly motivational words of Principal Mrs. Anshoo Tandon followed by a ‘Group Song’,sung by the school choir. The theme of the song was ‘Time’.

Later, an astonishing, very entertaining and highly informative Dance-Drama was presented by the students of classes VI-VIII, based on the theme “Evolution of Science”.

The programme was concluded by a precise yet effective speech of ‘Swaraj Bharadwaj’ of class X B.
