1.1 OBJECTIVE.

A key objective of ADC Procedures is to set up a step by step way of handling the job. It is also an analysis of associated hazards pertaining to the jobs and measures to

minimize the risks.

Preparation

Review JSA number 06 related

Hold a pre-job safety meeting prior to commencement job with all personnel involved

including the crane and forklift operators all personnel involved in the job.

Make out PTW.

Check Tong Dies.

Inspect tongs dies and spinner rollers.

Prepare trip sheet, function test trip tank, check flow show and level sensor.

Prepare tracking sheet for amount of pipe to be picked up, one copy with driller, and one

copy with roustabout pusher. Ideally bring right amount of pipe required to avoid mistakes.

Make sure pipe racks are pinned to catwalk and between them end to end.

Prepare a basket for the rig floor to collect all protectors.
