1 iFlip Flipping the Classroom in adult education 2015-2018 Project-ID: Erasmus+ 15-204-012651 1. Executive Summary 1.1. Report This report, written by the Artevelde University College (AHS)-project team, reflects the monitoring and evaluating of the pilot courses created with the use of the Flipping the Classroom (FTC) methodology. FTC is a blended learning strategy with the aim to improve learner engagement and outcomes. The learning method, a mix of independently learning and face-to-face classroom teaching, is learner oriented. Though it can be used for different target groups, it is very suitable for adult learners, especially because it allows them to acquire the learning content at their own pace. Three courses were prepared by the group of educators who were taking the specialised FTC-training in Ghent, taught by Lut De Jaegher and Dries Van Acker for Artevelde University College: Masterclass Flipping the Classroom (Pilot BE-01) Vlog for educational purposes (Pilot BE-02) Social and digital media literacy (Pilot BE-03)
