Scriptures Do Teach that the Holy Spirit Dwells within each child of God.No reason to Believe this Indwelling is any different than that of the Father or the SonAll we have proven is that the Spirit dwells within us – Not that the Gift is this Indwelling

2nd The Gift of the Holy Spirit is Eternal Life received at Baptism by all today.

“the gift” ‘objective genitive’ case thus must be Holy Spirit Himself

John 4:10 “the gift of God”

Acts 8:20 “the gift of God”

Therefore: the Gift is something the Holy Spirit gives.

Salvation a gift of (from) the Holy Spirit -

Acts 2:39 extended to ALL

“Remission of sins” & “Salvation” not the same.

Remission of Sins is a Condition of & precedent to Salvation

3rd “Gift” refers to Miraculous Gifts of the Holy Spirit, imparted by the apostles’ hands. No longer received today.

“Promise” refers to Joel Chapter 2 Joel 2:28 NKJV 28 "I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh;”
