• VGIN and VITA/NG have deployed 4 servers to provide the platform for the service

• ESRI will complete Portal customizations and come to VITA to install software end of April

Next Steps• Complete installation with ESRI• Training for VGIN staff and select others from

ESRI as part of installation visit• VGIN will schedule and offer Portal workshops to

state and local government representatives to teach how to input data and use the system (Summer-Fall 2007)

• VGIN will make a big push for data providers to register their datasets in the system
