Who are we?A familiar name in South Yorkshire for over 67 years we have three travel centres following the recent addition of our newcentrally located Rotherham shop, this joins both Barnsley &Bradford Town Centre travel centres; we cover a wide pick-up area which includes Barnsley, Bradford, Morley, Rotherham,Harrogate and Wetherby areas.

As a family run business we thrive to offer that personal touch,many of you will have spoken with us throughout lock-down whenwe made a point of maintain a clear line of communication for ourcustomers, and although we have all been though some uncertaintimes we have remained a constant presence within the area,working with the local authorities to provide vital transport links forboth key-workers and children whom needed to attend school. Weappreciate you have a choice when booking, so we will always betransparent with you, you’re holiday / break should be about you,not us, this is why we always go that extra mile behind the scenesto ensure you enjoy a value for money, hassle free and friendlybreak with us.

Our coaches and driversAll of our tour coaches feature a rear floor mounted W/C for added comfort, we operate a number of vehicles varying from 38 - 57 seat coaches; when booking you will be allocated a seatnumber and have the choice of where to sit on the coach. Our team of professional tour drivers are always on hand to assist with any requirements.

Coach capacityWe are monitoring closely and following Government guidance on the maximum number of passengers we are able to carry on our vehicles, for May & June we will be operating with a reduced number in order to adhere to social distancing measures;rest assured that your safety and comfort is our priority. Our expectation is that once the 21st June arrives social distancing requirements will be altered, all of our coaches will operate to guidance at the time of departure.

Cleaning / COVID-secureAs a company we have obtained the Visit England ‘We’re Good ToGo’ COVID-19 accreditation, our commitment to safe travel isguaranteed. In addition to our existing cleaning regime we haveintroduced anti-viral internal fogging on all vehicle which assistswith the killing of airborne germs; we also ensure that all touch-points on the coach, which include grab handles, seat back tablesand seat belts are disinfected prior to any departure and throughout your holiday with us.

Change in advertised itineraries and included excursionsIn line with Government guidance many hotels and attractions have changed the way in which they operate, whilst we fully expectnormality to return throughout the year some attractions arereserving the right to limit group bookings, we totally understandthis and where possible will work with them to ensure compliance.We of course will inform you of any changes that affect youritinerary prior to travel. The same principal applies to hotels andentertainment, this may need to be amended or altered at shortnotice in line with any changes to guidance.

All holidays can be secured with a £25.00 deposit which is fullyrefundable or transferable in the event of cancellation due to COVID-19 restrictions; we reserve the right to ask for proof of apositive lateral flow test if you cancel due to COVID-19 within the cancellation deadline. All balances are due 6 weeks prior todeparture. For your financial security and to ensure our clientsmonies are safe in the unlikely event of insolvency of the companywe hold all client holiday funds in a client account, this means anymonies paid to Globe Holidays are placed directly into the accountand cannot be retrieved by Globe Holidays until the completion ofyour holiday, this is in line with the requirements of EU & PackageTour Sales. We would also like to emphasise that throughout theCOVID-19 pandemic we remained in communication with ourclients, all monies where requested (including deposits) wererefunded or transferred, we are very proud of this fact.

Door-to-door pick up serviceOur home pick up service has proven very popular over the past fewyears with many of you taking us up on this option, you will noticethat the majority of Holidays and Short Breaks not include this asstandard within the price of your holiday, should however you wishto make your own arrangements you are welcome to do so, you can join us at any of our pick-up points (Barnsley Interchange,Rotherham Interchange, Bradford Interchange, Morley Leisure Centre,Wetherby Services or Harrogate Montpellier); if you chose to makeyour own way too and from we will deduct £15.00 per person fromthe price of your holiday; you can make this choice at any point upto the balance due date of your holiday.
