WhothispolicyrelatestoThisistheUniversityspolicyrelatingtothecalculationandpaymentoftuitionfeesforcommencingandcontinuinginternationalstudents

in2013.Thispolicyappliestointernationalstudentsenrolled:

inanundergraduate,graduatecoursework,orgraduateresearchcourse(includingMastersbyResearch,DoctoralandPhDcandidates);or

inaStudyAbroadcourse;or inCommunityAccessProgram(CAP)subjects;or whoarestudyingonshoreoroffshore.ThispolicydoesnotapplytointernationalstudentsenrolledincoursesofferedbytheMelbourneBusinessSchoolorMelbourneConsulting

andCustomPrograms.

refunds

Ifyourtuitionfeesarelessthantheamountyouhavepaidforthatandanysubsequentsemester,thedifferencewillbecreditedtoyouraccount.Shouldyourtuitionfeesbehigheryouwillbeissuedaninvoiceforthedifference.

Forinternationalstudentsintheirfirstyearofenrolment,anyoverseasrepresentativesfeethathasbeenpaidwillnotberefunded(themaximumamountnotrefundedtobecalculatedinaccordancewithaformulasetundertheEducationServicesforOverseas

Ifyoucommencedyourcoursepriorto2004andremainonthegrandfathered(original)feepolicythegrandfatheredpolicywillapplyonly

for:

Undergraduatecourses:thestandarddurationofthecourseasdefinedwhenyoucommencedthecourseplusafurtheryear;or Graduatecourses:twicethenormalfulltimedurationofthecourseasdefinedwhenyoucommencedthecourse.Anyperiodsofleaveofabsenceorparttimeenrolmentdonotextendtheabovetimeframes.

Ifyoutakelongerthantheabovetimeframestocompletethecourseyouwillberequiredtomovetothecurrentfeepolicyandmustpay
