04 VISION, MISSION AND CORE VALUES
Dear friends and supporters,
Being engaged in humanitarian aid work gives us much insight, experiences but also the realization
of how challenging such projects can be. We therefore are humbly proud and deeply thankful for
your trust, shown in your support.
Natural catastrophes are so powerful and have a disastrous effect. However my observation in the
field is also that the power of re-generation in nature is much stronger. Man, creatures and even
plants, are created to survive by fighting for life. It is a noble undertaking to help where one cannot
do so himself or reach out a helping hand to someone’s personal effort.
In our drive to relief suffering and re-build communities we have come together with many like-
minded people, solidarity especially in the Christian communities is indeed not just an empty word,
showing there is much more which unites, than divides among the Churches. Yet also the generosity
by corporations showing us their social responsibility has impressed us and made us very thankful.
A special “Thank You” goes out to our partners, the various Charity organization of the New
Apostolic Church. Without their resources we just could not do as much as needed. Yet every USD,
EUR or CHF from fundraising events, from youth groups and individuals all over the world have
made a difference. Especially heart-warming was the charity and solidarity experienced within our
own area of South East Asia. I truly feel humbled to serve such a noble cause.
May I also acknowledge the work of my staff, the people behind NACSEARelief but also volunteers.
Their untiring efforts, sacrifice of many hours of extra time, their fearless and courageous attitude
are truly a donation in itself. Some give money, some themselves. Nothing is in vain, when done with
love and honesty.
The work is not finished, many projects still ongoing and we would like to say THANK YOU with all
our heart, also on behalf of the many whose life we could touch with your support of our work.
“To do good to your neighbor, bear one another’s burden and with love at work” are not just
quotations from sermons, but our mission.
Thank you and God bless you
Yours truly
Urs Hebeisen

07 MEDICINE ASSISTANCE
Last April 2, 2014 was an important and memorable event of my life, my graduation day. Memorable
event because I have received my Diploma as a proof that I have satisfactorily completed the
requirements of the Degree, Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education, major in Biological Science. I
was very happy, my parents and relatives were very proud of me. The four long years of struggles and
sacrifices at last have come to its end.
This success of mine is not possible without those big hearted people who are willing to help and
contribute for my studies. We all know that college life is very difficult, based on my experience there
were times that I was not able to take examination because I failed to pay my accounts. I reached third
year in college with that condition and situation until opportunity came. It was summer vacation when I
learned from Bishop Muda that our church offers a scholarship for those less privileged New Apostolic
students like me. I immediately applied and with God’s help the NACSEA Relief, an aid organization of the
New Apostolic Church of Southeast Asia responded positively.
I am proud to say that I am a scholar of NAC. During my 4th year I did not experience difficulties in paying
my school fees because NACSEA Relief already sent a check for my tuition fees.
I can’t wait to say THANK YOU first of all to our Almighty Father for using these people as instrument to
lend a hand to others. To the New Apostolic Church Southeast Asia Administration from the bottom of my
heart thank you so much and I hope that you will continue helping others under NACSEA Relief
organization.
Once more, from my family and relatives I extend my sincerest thanks to NACSEA Relief. MABUHAY!
Sincerely yours,
Pr. DEVIE JOHN M. BANDAAN
