Multi-line Voice Terminal — 4610 Quick Reference Guide CALL PROCESSING  TO PLACE A CALL Pick up the handset, or press SPKR. — If you are using a headset touch the headset button to dial out and disconnect. Dial the 6-digit extension number or dial 9 and the outside number. TO ANSWER A CALL When the phone rings, either pick up the handset or press the SPKR button. — If you are using a headset, touch the headset button to answer a call and disconnect. BASIC FEATURES CONFERENCE To add another party to a call which is already in progress (for a total of six parties, including yourself): Press Conference. Dial number of new party. — If there is no answer or the line is busy, press Drop and return to the call by pressing its call appearance button. Press Conference again. Repeat steps 1 through 3 for each additional party to be added to the call. To add a call you have put on hold to another call. Press Conference. — Y ou are given a new call appearance. Press the call appearance of call on hold (rst call). Press Conference again. DROP Used to drop the last party on a conference call, or obtain new dial tone if a mistake is made dialing during a transfer or conference. HOLD To put a call on hold: Press the Hold button. To answer a new call while active on another: Press the Hold button. Press the call appearance of incoming call. To return to held call: Press call appearance of held call. REDIAL Allows a user a choice of dialing out the last number called or displaying a list of the last three numbers called. Press the OPTIONS softkey to administer redial options. TRANSFER T o send present call to another extension: Press Transfer . Dial number where call is to be transferred. Press Transfer again. PROGRAMMED FEATURES ABBREVIATED DIALING ON A SD BUTTON T o program and label a SD button on your station: Press the Abrv Prog button or dial *16. Press the SD button. Dial in the speed dial entry number, include a 9 if it is an outside number. Press #. — Use the Label feature, in the Options menu on the second screen, to label the speed dial button. CALL PARK T o park a call at your extension (for retrieval at any extension): Press the CALL PARK button. <conrmation tone> T o retrieve a parked call from any extension: Touch the PARK RETRVL button. Dial the extension you were at when you parked the call. If the receptionist parks a call for you: Press PARK RETRVL. Dial your own extension number. DIRECTORY Used to search the database for a telephone number. Press DIRECTORY. Enter last name using the letters above the numbers on the keypad. Press Next to show next name.
