When receiving timber products it is essential that they are checked to confirm that we have received Chain of Custody certified products i.e FSC or PEFC - this is stated on all supplier paperwork.

Receiving Timber Products

GOODS INWARDS

1. Check our purchase order to see if any of the ordered products are to be FSC or PEFC certified. These will be identified by having FSC or PEFC at the end of the order.

2. If we have ordered FSC or PEFC certified products then the supplier’s delivery note must show their Chain of Custody number and status of material supplied (70% FSC or PEFC Certified).

3. Check for quantity and quality.

4. If the supplier delivery note does not show the suppliers Chainof Custody number and status, then advise your Manager priorto unloading to resolve with the supplier.

5. If all correct, unload and sign.
