ADMISSION INFORMATION

I. GENERAL

1. Integrated Double Degree Masters Program (IDDMP ) is designed for the advantage of Student Community through which students can acquire both B. Tech.

& M.Tech degrees from JNTUH and M.Sc degree from Blekinge Institute of Technology, Sweden in FIVE years. This IDDMP degree is recognized in India

through JNTUH and in Europe through Blekinge Institute of Technology, Sweden and globally through JNTUH and BTH. This special arrangement increases

the face value of the degree and makes it free from local recognition hurdles which students usually face at the time of employment or Ph.D. Studies in India

after pursuing studies in Foreign Universities. This program protects the future of the students in a better way both in India and abroad.

2.Applications for admission into Integrated B. Tech & M.Tech/ M.Sc Computer Science & Engineering/ Software Engineering/ Telecommunications Systems

under IDDMP will be processed jointly by JNT University, Hyderabad and Blekinge Institute of Technology, Sweden.

3. There will be no provision for students to discontinue the studies in the middle of the program and claim alternative degree.

4. All Admissions are purely provisional and the University reserves the right to cancel the admission at any stage.

4. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Candidates satisfying the following requirements shall be eligible to appear for the IDDMP-2012 entrance examination:1. Candidates with Intermediate Education (10+ 2 pattern) conducted by the A.P Board of Intermediate Education (BIE)/CBSE/ICSE with

Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry subjects with minimum of 60%.2. Candidates should be of Indian Nationality/Persons of Indian Origin (POI)/Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) card Holders3. Candidates should belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh as defined in the A.P Educational Institutions (regulations for admission) order 1974 and

its amendments (vide G.O.P.No.646, Dt:10-07-79 of Education (W) Department).4. The candidates should have completed 16 years of age by the date of commencement of admissions or on such other date as may be notified by the

entrance test committee. There is no upper age limit.

5. STRUCTURE OF INTEGATED DOUBLE DEGREE MASTERS PROGRAM

The duration of IDDMP is 5 years (10 Semesters) and the students admitted have to undergo the first 3 years (Seven semesters) of mandatory education at JNTUH, Hyderabad

and, after obtaining the required eligibility, the remaining 1 years (Three semesters) of mandatory education at BTH, Sweden.

6. FEE STRUCTURE

Rs.1-00 Lakh per Semester. Refund of fee will not be entertained once admission is made. Fee shall be paid at the beginning of each academic year. There is no concession of fee

and stipend during their study period.

7. VISA REQUIREMENTSThere will be no further tuition fee charged at Blekinge Institute of Technology, Sweden for their period of study at Sweden under Memorandum of Cooperation ( MoC) with

JNTUH. Students should be able to fund their travel & living expenses for the stay at Sweden. Students should be able to show a minimum financial requirement of SEK 7300

(Sweden Kronas) per month for the entire planned study period at Sweden. Documentation certifying ones own must be provided at the time of applying visa. For 18 Monthsstay in Sweden, the students should show minimum financial requirement of SEK 131 400, Approx. INR 10 Lakhs ( As per the present currency exchange rate* ) before

Swedish Migration Board while applying for VISA ( Student Residence Permit). For further details checkwww.migrationsverket.se

NOTE:- Students are responsible to show the required financial proofs to the migration authorities while applying for student permit (VISA). Either BTH or JNTUH will no

be responsible for the visa rejections caused on the grounds of in-sufficient financial funds/statements in front of Migration Board.

8.PLACEMENTS

The successfully completed IDDMP students are eligible for campus placements at JNTUH as per JNTUH norms.

9. HOW TO APPLY

Candidates are required to download application format and Information booklet from the website www.jntuh.ac.in. The duly filled in application form with Two sets o

enclosures and registration fee of Rs.1,000/- in the form of DD drawn, in any Nationalized bank, in favor of The Registrar, JNT University Hyderabad payable at Hyderabashould reach the Director, Admissions, JNTU Hyderabad, Kukatpally, Hyderabad-500 085 by post or in person before 5.00 pm on 13-08-2012.

Applications received after 20 08- 2012 ( late submission with fine ) will not be accepted. Office of the Directorate of Admissions is not responsible for the non-receipt or late

receipt of applications sent by Post / Courier. Incomplete applications are liable to be summarily rejected.

10. ENTRANCE EXAMINATION

Admission is purely based on the merit in a separate entrance examination conducted by JNT University Hyderabad in association with BTH, Sweden. The entrance Examination

is of 3 hours duration ( 160 Multiple Choice Questions with EAMCET-2012 Entrance Examination Syllabus) on 26 08- 2012 on the syllabus enclosed. The test centre is only a

Hyderabad. Results of entrance examination & counselling schedule will be announced in JNTUH website www.jntuh.ac.in

11. ENCLOSURES

Attested copies of Secondary Education (10th Class) certificate. Attested copies of Higher Secondary Education (10+2 Class pattern) certificate. Undertaking statement signed by the parent / guardian along with the applicant, stating that applicant is capable of enough to fund the financial requirement (131400

SEK ( Approx. 10 Lakhs ) for 3 semesters) in order to pursue education in Sweden.(to be produced at the time of admission)

DD of Rs.1000/- from any Nationalised bank in favour of Registrar, JNTUH, Hyderabad payable at Hyderabad.Or

DD of Rs. 2000/- from any Nationalised bank in favour of Registrar, JNTUH, Hyderabad and payable at Hyderabad (Late Submission, with fine ).
