Grafenwoehr celebrates differently,Celebrate with us!

The anniversary celebration has something to offer for everyone! Whether young or old, singles or families - fun is programmed for this weekend. The Grafenwoehr clubs and hosts offer an international selection of dishes and beverages. Musical entertainment is provided on four different stages. The related artistic performance from different epochs and countries make sure that it is not boring at any station.

On Friday, 3 June 2011, the "cultural center" of Grafenwoehr will turn into a party-mile. 2300 hrs., the ANTENNE BAYERN band performs. Party mood is here! The band will rock Previously, the cult band: the Downlookers play until about 2200 hrs., a spectacular air show awaits visitors. Then it is still not time to go home because there is no curfew and DJ Mini heats up to the early morning. The entrance fee for this party of superlatives is 5 Euro.

On Saturday, 4 June 2011, the Fest operations start at 1400 hrs. and on Sunday, 5 June 2011 begins already at 1000 hrs. During the entire weekend, the different eras of history are represented in the old town of Grafenwoehr. A cross section of the 650 year history.

In the City Park is a medieval camp of several flags and wagons and Richtblock. The courtyard of Museum becomes a stage for the Catholic theater group in Grafenwöhr. "How Grafenwöhr(perhaps became) a city." A not quite seriously-intentioned review. An “artistic mile" is set up in the Martin-Posser Strasse. Here not only can you observe, but also take part.

From 0100 to 0400 hrs. free rides home with Bernies Taxi Service within the city limits (not subburbs). Starting with the City limits begins the regular taxi rates. The Grafenwoehr associations, which provide for the hospitality will take responsibility to pay for free rides home for the Grafenwöhr visitors.

Different artists from Grafenwöhr and the surrounding area will present her works and invite you to participate. An elaborate face painting is available for children. An artists Cafe invites you to relax and watch.

Scavenger hunt:The paper chase on the weekend (Saturday and Sunday) is meant to bring a piece of nature and history of Grafenwoehr to visitors with 7 Stations from the town pond to the Annaberg to the Schönberg.

Special exhibition in the 1st Upper Palatinate Culture and Military Museum650 Years city Grafenwöhr - from the founding to today open on the weekend from 1000 to 1800 hrs.

At nightfall arrives there will be different historical events represented visually in the old town and near the town pond.You will find culinary delights from eight different countries.
