COVID ARRANGEMENTS Only parent/carers of Kinder, Year 1 and Year 2 are able to

come into the school for drop off. All other years are required to be dropped at the gate.

Our playground will be open for pick up of an afternoon but social distancing is required.

QR code. The school now has our own dedicated QR code and parents entering the office or working in the canteen will be required to sign in and out using the QR code.

Parent volunteers are still unable to come into the school. Families are encouraged to download the NSW School

Updates App (from the various App stores) to keep up to date with changes.

Staff and students will continue to undertake appropriate personal hygiene practices including the regular use of hand sanitiser at school.

ARE YOUR DETAILS UP TO DATE? Have you recently moved houses, changed your phone number or has your family situation changed? If you answered yes to any of these, you need to let the office know, so that in an emergency or if your child is sick or injured, we can contact you or someone else.

LIBRARY BORROWING Borrowing has commenced for 2021. Kinder and Stage 1 students may borrow one book at a time, Stage 2 two books and Stage 3 three books. Students will only be able to borrow if they have brought a bag to protect their books. A Library bag is preferable although a plastic bag, shopping bag or pillowcase will suffice. We recommend that students return books weekly yet understand that longer novels may take a fortnight to read. It is important to return books on time to take advantage of borrowing opportunities and so others have access to popular books. Please take note of class Library times and ensure books and bags come to school on your child’s Library day. We acquire new books regularly and encourage all students to utilise the wonderful resources in our Library.

THE PARROT As per the information sent out last year, we are no longer sending home a paper copy of The Parrot to every family. It is always available via the School’s Website and Facebook Pages. New Kinder families will receive a paper copy in Term 1. At any stage if families wish to have a paper copy of The Parrot they can

simply contact the school and arrange to have a paper copy sent home each week if they choose.
