A bit about us.

Ecole Belgo SchoolEcole Belgo School was opened in 1970.

After 16 years it was closed in 1986,but continued to function as a private school.

In 1990, extensive renovations were done and Ecole Belgo School was reopened as a School District #23 dual track schoolwith French Immersion and English programs.

Belgos catchment area rangesfrom low to middle income. Ecole Belgo School is approximately 3 kilometers from 2 skating rinks, the YMCA, Okanagan Gymnastics Center and the Boys and Girls Club.

We have 48 Grade 3students spread between 3 classes.

We have 3 different Grade 3 teachers: one with 23 years experience, one with 15 years, and one with 6 years.

Our library is well-used. We have a fixed schedule, with classes coming in once each week, for book exchanges and for information learning.
