ScopeThe scope of work covered the planning and performing twoscientific research surveys amongst the whole Maltese population(1st Survey) and Gozitan population (2nd Survey) to determine thetravelling patterns and travelling requirements between Malta andGozo. Particularly, this project shall focus on the means of transportused to travel between Malta and Gozo, and vice versa.Furthermore, we also analysed the perception of the citizens withregards to the tunnel between Malta and Gozo. Several factorswere analysed, including: willingness to use such a tunnel, frequency of use and price of tickets. In particular, we alsocompared the findings between Maltese and Gozitans. Bothsurveys included questions aimed to compare the above resultswith several demographical variables.
