ABOUT US

It was year 1992 that Mr. Elias Roussopoulos a Marine Engineer, started to work as a supervising engineer, site manager and project manager, at the metal anticorrosion business.

In year 2003, after 11 years of providing his services in only one company, Mr. Elias Roussopoulos decided to establish his own business named TECHNIPROTECT. In time, TECHNIPROTECT gained a well-respected name on its field because it offers to its client’s top quality, outstand-ing cooperation and finishes the projects on time as per client demands.

In year, 2009 Mr. Iosif Stamatopoulos joined the com-pany as a co-owner and financial manager, giving TECH-NIPROTECT new potentials and boost, expanding its ca-pabilities in undertaking bigger projects.

In year 2010, the owners decided to start a new com-pany named TCP Protect in order to expand their activities abroad, thus creating TCP GROUP OF COMPANIES with the vision to be a major part in the anti- corrosive and fire-fighting protection field.

The same year (2010), TECHNIPROTECT was one of the very few companies globally, selected by AKZO NO-BEL to train in the new technology of metal fireproofing with the CHARTEK product in Frankfurt Germany.

In the year 2012 the company certified by LEIGHS (Sherwin-Williams) in M93-2 fireproofing paint system. In 2013 TCP Group expanded its activities abroad, creating TCP PROTECT CYPRUS LTD. The Company has al-ready awarded the first big project at PETROLINA TER-MINAL STATION for sandblasting and painting internally and externally at the new erected tanks.

The same year TCP Group absorbed the technical company BLAST PAINT located in northern Greece and because of that the group established its position further in metal anticorrosive business all around the Country.

The final step for 2013, was the co-creation of ISO PROTECT, a company dedicated in industrial insula-tions, thermal or cold, with the vision that this new com-pany will play a major role in the heavy industry market.

In August 2015 TCP got certified by JOTUN for all Jo-tachar product and up to present time TCP Protect is the biggest pool and jet fire applicator in Greece with these products.

TCP Group is ISO and TUV certified for all its activi-ties, including special PFP applications.

The company’s personnel are highly skilled and gets continues training in safety, quality and new technologies having as a constant target to be a leader in its field.

All equipment that we use to undertake and deliver the projects is 100% owned, of the best brands in the business such us ATLAS COPCO, GRACO, CLEMCO, NLB etc. and come with all the necessary certificates to show that perform very well and safely in any construction site.

FIELD OF ACTIVITIES

TCP’s experienced staff will help you determine the appropriate surface preparation or blast cleaning system to match your requirements. Proper surface preparation is critical for the success of every cleaning, coating or lining proj-ect.

Shooting abrasive particles at a surface is the fastest and most thorough means of cleaning, descaling, debarring and removing oxides and other surface contaminants. What we use as an abrasive, the force with which it is blasted and the medium used to create the pressure are all variables that TCP understands and can confidently match to the task in order to achieve the required result that the client demands.

TCP undertakes both the everyday as well as the uncommon and unusual challenges. Whether it is structural steel, tank lining, heavy industry equipment concrete-stone walls and structures or special abatements such as lead coatings, we supply safe and effective on-site services.

For sensitive and tough substrates, we offer a variety of blast media choices to get the job done right. Example media blasting abrasives include grit, garnet, crushed walnut shells, glass beads and several dozen more.

Our fully trained abrasive blasters and painters are equipped to get the job done quickly, effectively and at a minimum downtime for our customers.

FIELD OF ACTIVITIES

One of the most important aspects of any new or existing structure involves taking safety precautions to protect the people that live, work, or patronize the location.

Today, a number of strict laws all over Europe are in place that must adhered to when operating a business or resi-dential community, which ensure that proper fireproofing procedures are adhered to.

TCP can help you meet or exceed those guidelines within any construction. Although most structures will benefit from fireproofing Intumescent painting, some of the most common industries we provide this service to, are:

• Warehouses• Hotels• Hospitals and Assisted Living Facilities• Shopping Malls• Apartment and Condominium Communities

The fire-retardant coating products we use are affordable, safe, long lasting, and they produce an attractive finish that looks just like paint, which preserves the character and focal points of the structure.

We cooperate with the biggest Intumescent paint manufacturers in the market just to be sure that the result will meet the client’s demands in terms of quality beside application.

FIRE PROOFING

A few words for the Fireproofing Intumescent Painting Process.

This process allows otherwise unapproved building materials to meet fire code, flame spread requirements, and necessary fire ratings. This specialty coating can be of use indoors or outdoors, and has the capacity to withstand high temperatures for extended periods according to each project specs.

TCP specialize in the various surface preparation techniques it takes to apply Intumescent fireproof paints to struc-tural steel areas like walls, ceilings, columns, and beams.

Our trained and expert personnel tackle every area within the structure and apply the coating up to the required DFT to achieve the building’s desired fireproof rating. As a professional painting contractor, our experts know and understand the need to settle for nothing short of complete success within this facet of your project.

FIELD OF ACTIVITIES

Metalizing is an application method that protects metal surfaces from corrosion and oxidation using a process to apply Thermal Sprayed Aluminum (TSA), Zinc or other non-corrosive metals using special equipment.

The metalizing process is a procedure where molten metal, usually zinc, aluminum or less commonly stainless steel, applied to a metal substrate such as carbon steel to prevent corrosion.

The metal surface prior the application must be clean from any contaminants and usually grit blasting is the way to go. Metalizing is quickly gaining acceptance as a substitute for painting structural steel and protects steel for decades longer than paint alone.

This is a proven process, which is been used around the world for 90 years.

Metalizing is widely accepted in Europe as an upgrade from paint for multiple process applications and infra- struc-tures projects where corrosion is big issue such as on-shore and offshore wind turbines.

Steel of every shape and size may be metalized either in-shop prior to construction or onsite after the steel has been erected. Onsite is also a viable option for ongoing maintenance instead of less effective painting. Metalizing is the most versatile and effective coating for protecting steel infrastructure available today but with considerable higher cost than the conventionally anticorrosive process methods.

TCP offers superior services in metalizing, having its own equipment and trained personnel in order to achieve the best results cost effectively and with high quality.
