The content of nurse performance appraisal is applied in 'Aisyiyah Hospital Bojonegoro didn’t contain elements of caring. This study used operational research. This research was conducted in three stages: 1) problem identification of nursing performance appraisal system; 2) arrangement nursing performance appraisal instrument based on caring; and 3) evaluation nursing performance appraisal instrument based on caring. This research subject were in this study were 15 participants from Head of Nursing field, head of PSDI, head of adult inpatient 1 and 2, NUM and nurse associate from Musdalifah, Bir Ali 1, Arofah 1, Arofah 2, and Arofah 3 wards . Data were analyzed qualitative by FGD. This study resulted a nurse performance appraisal system based on caring that consists of the instrument, workflow and Standart Operational Procedure. The nursing performance appraisal instrument based on caring consist of 13 nurse associate performance goal items and 10 behavior performance items based on 5 caring dimensions by Kristen Swanson (maintaining belief, knowing, being with, doing for and enabling). Maintaining belief dimension were applied in communication and optimism assessment items; knowing were applied in description of nurse’s duties and cooperation; being with were implemented in coordination, responsiveness and discipline assessment items; doing for werw applied in the description of duties and ethics; enabling dimension were applied in motivation and innovative assessment items. This study recommends to the ‘Aisyiyah Bojonegoro hospital direction and managerial to apply a nurse performance appraisal system based on caring regularly and systematically to improve and enhance the quality of nursing care. STANDARISASI SISTEM PENILAIAN KINERJAPERAWAT PELAKSANA BERBASIS CARING di RS ‘AISYIYAH

BOJONEGORO

Sistem penilaian kinerja perawat pelaksana di RS ‘Aisyiyah Bojonegorobelum menunjukkan interaksi antara perawat dengan klien, hanya berfokus padakegiatan perawat. Konteks atau isi penilaian kinerja perawat pelaksana yangditerapkan di RS ‘Aisyiyah Bojonegoro belum mengandung unsur caring.

Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah risetoperasional. Penelitian ini menggunakan 3 tahap yaitu identifikasi masalah sistempenilaian kinerja perawat pelaksana; penyusunan sistem penilaian kinerja perawatpelaksana berbasis caring dan tahapan evaluasi sistem penilaian kinerja berbasiscaring. Subjek penelitian adalah 15 orang terdiri dari Kepala BidangKeperawatan, Ketua PSDI, Kepala Irna Dewasa 1 dan 2, PJ Unit dan perawatpelaksana di Ruang Musdalifah, Bir Ali 1, Arofah 1, Arofah 2, dan Arofah 3. Datayang didapatkan melalui FGD dianalisis secara kualitatif.

Hasil penelitian berupa sistem penilaian kinerja perawat pelaksanaberbasis caring (instrumen, SPO dan alur). Instrumen penilaian kinerja perawatpelaksana berbasis caring terdiri dari komponen penilaian berupa 13 item sasarankinerja perawat (uraian tugas perawat pelaksana) dan 10 item perilaku kerjaberdasarkan 5 dimensi caring menurut Kristen Swanson (dimensi maintainingbelief, knowing, being with, doing for dan enablings). Dimensi maintaining beliefditerapkan dalam item penilaian komunikasi dan optimisme; dimensi knowingditerapkan dalam item penilaian uraian tugas dan kerjasama; dimensi being withditerapkan dalam item penilaian koordinasi, tanggap dan disiplin; dimensi doingfor diterapkan dalam item penilaian uraian tugas dan etika; dimensi enablingditerapkan dalam item penilaian motivasi dan inovatif.

Penelitian ini merekomendasikan kepada pihak manajemen RS ‘AisyiyahBojonegoro agar menerapkan penilaian kinerja perawat pelaksana berbasis caringsecara berkala dan sistematis untuk memperbaiki dan meningkatkan kualitaspelayanan keperawatan.
