Every New Year brings new things –both joyful and challenging. This service is a great opportu- nity to start the year right by coming together for worship with friend and family, and with fellow brothers and sisters in Christ! Child Care pro- vided up through age 5. Adult Sunday School Today we continue our study in the Book of Rev- elation. We are in chapter 8 with lots to discover. Join us in the Lounge at 10:30am. 210 Connect Community Forum Tomorrow evening, Monday, is the next 210 Connect hosted monthly by First Presbyterian and the Times-Delta. It’s from 7:00 to 8:30 and will deal with end-of-life issues. The panel pre- senting the program will include a doctor, a hos- pice expert, a funeral director, a legal expert, and our Senior Pastor, Stephen Murray. Student Winter Camp The Senior High will kick off the fun from February 22nd-24th, 2013 at Calvin Crest and then the Junior High will enjoy camp from March 1st-3rd, 2013 at Hume Lake. Guy’s Night All Junior High and Senior High guys are invited to come and hang out for a “Halo” video game night on February 10th from 6-9pm in the Stu- dent Lounge. Please see Zach for more details. Girl’s Night All Junior High and Senior High girls are invited to a Girl’s Night “In” hosted at the Martinez home on January 11th from 6-9pm. Call Claudia for more details. NEW Church Directory We are in the process of updating the church directory of members, including phone numbers and addresses. There will be a photographer available in Geneva Hall after the 9:00am wor- ship service & in 210 after the 10:30am worship service today. Wednesday Night Family Dinner The first dinner of 2013 is this Wednesday! There’ll be good food and spiritual nurture for all ages. It’ll be great to see everyone again after the holiday break. 5:30 – Dinner in Geneva Hall 6:00 – Junior & Senior Highs 6:15 – Children’s Worship 6:30-7:30 – Growth Time of Learning for Children, Small Groups, & Adults. Adult Class at 6:30pm led by Pastor Murray. This Week: “Why I’m a Christian” Children’s Sunday School Welcome children! There is spiritual care and learning for you from Nursery up through the 6th Grade every Sunday morning. You are wel- come to the Sanctuary for Worship at 9:00am and then are dismissed together from there to your Sunday School classes. Great Music at Café 210! There is wonderful jazz every Saturday morning at 210 from 10:00am to 12:00 noon. We’ve had really good attendance as more of the commu- nity has learned about this weekly jazz offering. DivorceCare DivorceCare resumes this month. This 13 week support group is for those who are dealing with the trauma of changes brought about by divorce, and features all new materials just published. The group will meet every Thursday evening from 6:00pm to 8:00pm in the conference room at 210 from January 24th through April 25th. For more information, please contact Barbara Simp- son at 280-9048. Mexico Missions Banquet The Mexico Team will be having a banquet/ chore auction for Spring Break missions on January 26th at 6:00pm in Geneva Hall. Buy your tickets on the courtyard today! See Juana Posluch for details. Christian Sympathies Our Christan love goes out to Cal Grambusch on the loss of his wife Claire this past week. The Grambusch’s were marrried for 67 years. At the family’s request any services will be private.
