Flying Solo Travelling ‘Solo’ doesn’t have to

mean travelling ‘Alone’. There

many people today who, for a

wide variety of reasons, are

booking holidays by themselves.

Luckily, on safari, the communal

nature of mealtimes and the

vehicles means that no-one is

ever alone. Where shared

p a s s i o n s f o r w i l d l i f e ,

photography or travel in general

means that conversation and

good company are never in short

supply.

However, one of the big sticking

points for a solo traveller is often

the single supplement. We

understand that with limited

room numbers, lodges need to

balance their books. Thankfully

however, a great number of our

recommended lodges and camps

offer either year round or low

season rates with no single

supplement. So no tiny rooms,

with an equally tiny single bed,

but the same light, bright and

beautiful rooms as everyone else.

We’ve put together a small

selection of our favourites to

whet your appetite.

For anyone who still has

reservations about venturing out

alone, there are plenty of group

escorted tours to be found from a

classic Garden Route tour to a

full on wilderness safari

adventure.

Give the team a call to discuss

your ideas, 0161 789 8838
